What to choose
Which class shall I choose?
Private yoga lessons and group lessons of different levels and approaches are offered, and newcomers are welcome to Vinyasa yoga, De-stress yoga and/or HYFC. You should not apply for HYFC or HYIC if you are not able to commit to regular attendance (once a week).
1. Choose De-stress yoga if most of the following statements are true for you at this moment:
• you prefer a slow relaxed approach to yoga (but not passive - everyone is encouraged to go to their comfortable maximum)
• you are looking for lots of stretching to improve your flexibility and release tension
• you are interested in learning Yoga Nidra, pranayama, mudra and other yogic techniques
• you want to achieve deep relaxation, increased vitality and emotional balance
2. Choose Vinyasa yoga if most of the following statements are true for you at this moment:
• you are relatively healthy and aware of your body limitations
• you prefer dynamic-type yoga to energize your body and mind
• you want to get strengthening, toning and slimming
3. Choose the Hatha Yoga Foundation Course (HYFC) only if:
• you are able to attend each lesson weekly
• you are open to corrections from the teacher, whether verbal or hands-on. Hands-on assistance is an integral part of instruction as touch is sometimes more direct and effective than verbal instruction but if you prefer to be guided verbally only, please let me know.
• you are willing to do some practice at home, at least 10 min twice a week (after each lesson you’ll receive an email with an explanation on what you practiced during that lesson).
• you want to learn how to perform hatha yoga techniques safely on your own and create most beneficial yoga practice for your body-mind system (after the successful completion of the course you’ll be presented with your program of individualized practice tailored to suit your personal needs).
4. Choose the Hatha Yoga Intermediate Course (HYIC) only if:
• you have completed at least one HYFC
• you are able to attend each lesson weekly
• you have developed sufficient body and mind awareness to enhance familiar asanas and pranayamas and be challenged with more advanced practices
