Private lessons allow you to enjoy working on a personal basis with the teacher's attention devoted entirely to you. They are ideal for people with special needs that cannot be taken into consideration in a large group setting or require more of a personal question-answer type of environment. Sessions are safe and confidential, to allow you to open up in a supportive environment. Together, we choose postures and/or breathing/meditation techniques that are best for your body-mind structure.
Every session is unique, depending on your needs. If you choose to focus on physical aspect of yoga the teacher will adapt your yoga practice to your individual skeletal structure and muscular and organic functions, and that will help you to achieve best results in a shorter time. The first session then will start by examining your postural misalignments, joint mobility and muscle strength and creating your "body-reading record". That will ensure excellent progression in structural stability, strength, flexibility, skeletal alignment, and mechanical freedom. If you wish to address particular health concerns to transform from conditions of illness and dependency to wellness and self-sufficiency your session may also include energy work to assist healing, as well as discussion of yoga philosophy and spiritual counseling. The teacher gently and compassionately will help you tailor a most effective yoga routine for you, which can then be practiced at home.
